Frequently Asked Questions

What colours does Charme Evo come in?

A light grey, a white and a black, each with its own veining pattern.

Will the veining repeat?

Every printed tile uses a set number of faces, so yes, patterns repeat across a large floor. Mixing tiles from several boxes as you lay them is what keeps the repeat from being visible.

Can I use it on a shower wall?

Yes, and it is one of the best uses for a marble look porcelain. Unlike real marble it will not etch from soap, shampoo or hard water, and it needs no sealing.

What sizes are available?

12x12, 12x24, 24x24 and 24x48 field tiles, 12x12 mosaics, 3x24 bullnose and 6x12 cove base.

Charme Evo Marble Look Porcelain

Marble in a bathroom is a maintenance decision as much as a design one. It etches when toothpaste, wine or lemon touch it, and the etch is a dull mark in the polish that no cleaner removes. Charme Evo puts the marble face on porcelain, so a shower wall keeps the veining and loses the anxiety.

The range is built around three colourways, a light grey, a white and a dramatic black, with veining printed at large enough scale that a 24x48 tile carries a full run of movement rather than a repeating fragment.

Sizes and pieces

Field tiles at 12x12, 12x24, 24x24 and 24x48, mosaics at 12x12, bullnose at 3x24 and cove base at 6x12, all matte.

Laying a veined tile

Open several boxes and lay the tiles out before fixing any of them. Veined faces are printed from a handful of patterns, and a floor laid straight from one box will show the same run of veining every fourth tile. Mixing across boxes is the whole difference between a floor that reads as stone and one that reads as tile.

The warmer marble in the range is Charme. See also marble look tile and our natural marble tile.
