Red and Terracotta Tiles
The reds here come from clay, not dye. This is handmade natural terracotta in its warm, earthy tones and a full set of shapes: hexagon, square, picket, rectangle, chevron, arabesque, and octagon. Pieces like Hexagono Natural and the Cuadrado squares carry the subtle color shifts and slightly irregular edges you only get from fired clay.
Terracotta is one of the oldest flooring materials there is. It's warm underfoot, it ages gracefully, and it brings a Mediterranean or Southwestern feel that no printed tile really matches. The natural and satin finishes keep that handmade honesty.
Terracotta is porous, so seal it to keep stains out. For clay in a glazed, color-rich form, see our glazed terracotta tiles.
