Marble-Look Tiles
Marble-look porcelain gives you the veined look of natural stone in a surface that stands up to spills and traffic. This collection includes Carrara Blanco, Piedra Gris, Gray Polished Marble Look, and Calacatta Bright in polished, matte, honed, and natural finishes and shapes from hexagon to subway to brick.
Real marble versus marble-look
Modern inkjet printing copies marble's veining pretty convincingly, but the tile underneath is dense porcelain. That means no sealing, no etching from lemon or wine, no special cleaners, and much better scratch and stain resistance. Real marble still wins on depth and the fact that every slab is unique. Marble-look wins on easy upkeep and price, which makes it the smarter pick for kitchen floors and busy family baths.
Getting a convincing result
Choose a series with a lot of face variations so tiles don't obviously repeat, use a tight, color-matched grout, and pick the finish for the job, matte for floors and polished for a feature wall. Larger formats read most like real stone.
