Trek Slate Look Porcelain
Trek is the more rustic of the two slate faces. Alongside the plain black, grey and beige it carries a multicolour blend, the rust and green shot through a natural slate that a single colour print cannot show, which is what makes a slate floor look quarried rather than manufactured.
The formats are smaller than the rest of the range, 12x12 and 12x24, and that suits the material. Slate reads as a stone laid piece by piece; in a 24x48 format it starts to look like a photograph of slate rather than a slate floor.

Where it works
Entries, mudrooms, cabin bathrooms and covered porches. The multicolour blend hides dirt better than almost any other face in the catalogue, which is the practical reason slate ended up in hallways in the first place.
