Two greys in one waterjet sheet
This Baroque marble waterjet mosaic is cut from two stones at once, Athens Grey Dark and Atelier Grey Light, on a small 4 by 7 1/2 sheet. Each covers 0.2 square feet, ten to a box for two square feet in all.
Design
Contrast built into the cut
Using a dark and a light stone in the same sheet means the pattern is legible from the far side of a room, which a single stone version would not be. Variation within each is slight, so the contrast stays clean rather than muddled. Honing keeps both matte, and at 3/8 inch the sheets are thin and easy to handle. Marble waterjet mosaics of this kind reward a plain surrounding surface. Small sheets also make a border straightforward, since the run can be stopped at a sheet edge without cutting through the design.

Where to use it
Broadly approved
Residential light floors, backsplash, shower floors and walls, residential and commercial interior walls and floors are all listed, with kitchen, living room and bathroom recorded. Coverage is two square feet a box, so 60 square feet would need 35 boxes, which makes this a border or a panel piece rather than a field.

Care
Seal after installation and reseal every one to two years. Acids mark both stones, so cleaning means a pH neutral stone product and nothing citrus or chlorine based.
