Baroque pattern in dark grey
Desing Bm 102 is a honed marble waterjet mosaic on an 8 1/2 inch square sheet, cut from Athens Grey Dark. Each sheet covers half a square foot, ten make a box, and a matching 3/4x12 bullnose exists for finishing an edge.
Design
Cut along curves
Waterjet cutting lets stone follow lines a blade cannot, which is how a pattern of this kind gets made in marble rather than in printed ceramic. Athens Grey Dark gives it more contrast than the lighter version of the same stone. Honing leaves the surface matte so the geometry leads rather than the reflection. Variation between pieces is slight, and sheets run 3/8 inch thick.
Darker ground
Athens Grey Dark carries more contrast than the light variant.
Bullnose available
A 3/4x12 piece in the same stone finishes an exposed edge.
Where to use it
Broadly approved
Approvals cover backsplash, residential and commercial interior walls and floors, residential light floors, and both shower walls and shower floors. Kitchen, bathroom and living room all appear. Half a square foot a sheet and ten sheets a box gives five square feet per box, so 60 square feet needs 14 boxes with waste counted in. Full adhesive contact behind each sheet is what keeps a piece from cracking later.

Adhesive has to reach the whole mesh, not just its edges.

Care
Marble needs a sealer after installation and again every one to two years. Acidic cleaners etch the surface, so use a pH neutral stone product and keep bleach, ammonia and scouring pads off it.
