Altair in two marbles
A marble mosaic in the Altair design, worked in Bianco Dolomiti and Bardiglio Light on sheets of 9 by 11 1/4 inches. The finish mixes honed and polished pieces. Six sheets per box come to 4.02 square feet, and a sample can be had first.
Design
Light doing half the work
Altair sets a pale marble against a grey one, then changes the surface treatment as well, so two pieces of the same stone can read differently depending on how they were finished. Walk past it and the pattern shifts, which is the argument for a multi finish sheet over a single one. Sheet to sheet the difference is slight, so the repeat lands where you expect it even though no two chips of stone are identical. A polished Bardiglio herringbone and a maze basket in Bianco Dolomiti are listed as companions if a scheme wants more than one pattern.

Where to use it
Approved across the house
Interior floors and walls at home and in commercial work, shower walls and floors, bath floors and walls, backsplash and light residential traffic are all on file, with living room, bathroom and kitchen given as rooms. Eighteen boxes would cover 60 square feet, which is a lot of sheets, so order the whole quantity at once and keep the batch together. Fill fully behind the mesh, as any hollow under stone eventually shows up as a crack.

Care
Seal after fitting, then every one to two years. Stick to a pH neutral stone cleaner and keep acids off it, since lemon and vinegar etch marble.
