Indigo, a blue marble tile
Marble tiles in Indigo, a blue stone, at 2 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches and three eighths thick. Sixty pieces per box cover 6.3 square feet, with moderate variation between them.
Design
Blue out of the ground
Blue marble is unusual, and Indigo is a deep one. Variation is logged as moderate, so pieces differ noticeably from one another and none of them will match a photograph exactly. At this small format that difference works in the tile's favour, since sixty pieces in a box read as one textured field rather than as sixty individual pictures. The same colour is stocked as a textured 12x12 and an Ottoman Textile 12x24, which is where the stone gets a relief surface instead of a flat one.

Where to use it
Shower walls
Shower walls is the rating recorded, with kitchen as the room listed. Kitchen wall tiles in a dark natural stone want a light grout if the pattern of the pieces is meant to show, and a dark one if the field should read as a single mass. Eleven boxes cover 60 square feet. Dry lay from several boxes first so the darker and lighter pieces spread evenly.

Care
Seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Keep to a pH neutral stone cleaner, and wipe acids off rather than leaving them, since lemon and vinegar etch marble.
