Serenity honed, eighteen inches
Honed marble tiles at eighteen inches square from the Serenity range in white. Five to a box, covering 11.25 square feet, and the difference between them is slight.
Design
Matte at large format
Honing grinds the face smooth and stops short of a shine, which does two things on a big white tile: it keeps reflections off a wide surface, and it hides the scratch or the etch mark that a polish would advertise. Serenity is a pale marble with soft grey movement and slight variation from piece to piece, enough to look like stone without any one tile pulling focus. At 2.25 square feet apiece the grid stays open. Polar white sanded grout is listed alongside for the joints.

Honed marble hides marks a polish shows.
Where to use it
Floors and walls indoors
Indoor floors and walls are on the list for homes and for commercial work, and so are shower walls and light residential traffic. Kitchen, bathroom and living room are the rooms given. White kitchen floor tiles in honed marble are the more sensible of the two finishes underfoot, since traffic dulls a polish long before it touches a matte face. Seven boxes settle 60 square feet. A pencil liner and a 2 3/4x5 1/2 tile share the colour, along with three mosaics.

Care
Seal after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH neutral stone cleaner, and dry lay from several boxes before setting anything so the tone spreads evenly.
