Is a white floor hard to keep clean?

Less than people expect. White hides dust far better than dark tile; what shows is hair and grit at doorways. A matte or honed finish and a mid tone grout keep it looking clean between mops.

What grout colour should I use with white tile?

A white or very light grey grout keeps the floor seamless. A darker grout draws the grid, which suits a checkerboard or a subway pattern but shows every irregular cut.

Which white tile suits a bathroom floor?

Honed white marble or a matte white porcelain. Both give grip; polished white in a wet room is slick and shows water marks.

Will white marble stain?

It can if it is unsealed and something acidic sits on it. Seal it, wipe spills and use pH neutral cleaners. In a kitchen, honed marble forgives more than polished.
