Is white marble practical in a bathroom?+
Very. The risks are acidic cleaners and hard water, both of which you control. It is the kitchen that is hard on marble, not the bath.
Honed or polished white marble?+
Honed for floors and anywhere wet, because it hides etching and is less slick. Polished for walls and vanity tops, where the shine is the point.
How do I stop white marble from yellowing?+
Yellowing comes from iron in the stone reacting with water, or from the wrong sealer. Use a breathable penetrating sealer and do not let water stand on it.
