Frequently Asked Questions

What colours does Mood come in?

Grey, beige, white and black, all in the same limestone face so they can be mixed within one project.

Can Mood be used in a shower?

Yes. Run the field tile on the walls and the 12x12 mosaic on the floor, where the smaller pieces let the surface fall to the drain. Choose the slip resistant version for the shower floor.

What sizes are available?

Field tiles at 12x24 and 24x48, mosaics at 12x12, and bullnose trim at 3x24.

Does it need sealing?

No. Porcelain is non porous, so unlike the limestone it imitates it never needs sealing and will not etch from acidic cleaners or spills.

Mood Limestone Look Porcelain

Limestone is the stone people choose when they do not want the floor to be the loudest thing in the room, and Mood is the porcelain version of it. The face carries the fine, even grain of a honed limestone with almost no visible repeat, so a large floor reads as one continuous surface rather than as a pattern that keeps starting again.

Real limestone in a bathroom or a kitchen is a commitment: it is porous, it etches when something acidic touches it, and it needs sealing on install and again every couple of years. Porcelain gives the same face with none of that, which is why this series turns up in showers and entries more than any other in the range.

Sizes and pieces

  • Field tiles at 12x24 and 24x48 with rectified edges
  • Mesh mounted mosaics at 12x12 for shower floors and niches
  • Bullnose trim at 3x24 for exposed edges
  • Matte and slip resistant surfaces

Using it

The mosaic and the field tile share a face, so a shower can run the 24x48 up the walls and the 12x12 mosaic across the floor without a colour break, and the mosaic sheet gives the fall to the drain that a large tile cannot. In grey and beige this is one of the easiest series to pair with warm wood and brushed metal.
