The two sizes a house actually needs
12x24 and 24x48 sit in this range, which between them answer most interior floors.
12x24 suits ordinary rooms: enough to cut the joint count down, small enough that a slightly uneven floor does not fight it. 24x48 suits an open span, where fewer lines read better and the base is flatter. Beyond those two the returns diminish quickly on a domestic job.
The mosaic is the reason the range works
Half of this collection is mosaic sheet rather than field tile, which is a high proportion for four products.
It is there for the shower pan. A shower pan curves down toward its drain on every side and only small pieces on flexible mesh settle into that shape, so a range without a matching sheet leaves the one surface in a house that cannot use its field tile. With the sheet, the bathroom stays in one face from the wall to the drain.
White and gray, and nothing else
The colors here are white and gray, in marble look and limestone look.
Those two colors cover the large majority of specified interior floors, and the two effects are the quiet ones. Nothing in this range is going to be the feature of a room, which is the correct behavior for a floor that has to work in a kitchen, a bathroom, a hall and a bedroom without being chosen four times.
Matte and polished, one each way
The range carries both matte and polished faces rather than committing to one.
That is the one place it does not simplify, and rightly. Matte scatters light and hides what a floor collects; polished returns light and suits a room that needs help with it. They are not interchangeable and a range offering only one would be making a decision it has no business making.
25/64 of an inch
Most of this range sits at 25/64 inch, which is 10 millimeters, with one piece at 3/8.
Ten millimeters is the ordinary thickness for interior floor porcelain, which is what a range like this should be. A thinner body would introduce a substrate requirement, and a thicker one would raise a floor for no benefit indoors.
Ordering once instead of five times
The practical advantage of a short range shows at the order rather than at the showroom.
One product across several rooms means one quantity calculation, one waste allowance and one reserve set aside for later. Splitting a house across four different tiles means four of each, and four separate chances for a room to come up short with nothing matching left to finish it. On a single bathroom that risk is small; across a whole building it is the thing that goes wrong most often.
Where a short range is the right answer
A whole-house build, a rental, a flip, a development of several units and any project where one floor runs through the building and the decision is made once.
Porcelain floor tile is the full range when there is a reason to look wider, and marble look porcelain the effect this collection leads with.
