Antique Mirror Tile
Mirror tile with an aged, speckled back that reads like old glass rather than a modern mirror. It is used on feature walls, backsplashes, cabinet doors and ceilings where a plain mirror would look flat.
Because the antiquing is applied to the back, every tile carries a slightly different pattern of clouding, which is the point of the finish. The reflection is softened rather than sharp.
Behind a range, keep antique mirror away from direct heat and clean it with a soft cloth rather than an ammonia spray, which can attack the backing at the edges.
