Tiling a whole floor or a full bathroom in marble takes both quantity and consistency, and that's what this collection is for. These are the classic field tiles our contractors buy by the pallet. It centers on honed and polished 12x12 marble: Italian Carrara, Calacatta, Bardiglio Light, and Black Marble in honed, polished, and tumbled finishes.

Why volume and lot matter

Marble's color and veining shift from block to block, so buying a large amount from a single lot keeps the whole install consistent. That really matters when a full floor is in one sightline. Order about 10 to 15 percent extra for cuts, waste, and future repairs, and dry-lay a few boxes first to blend any tonal variation across the room.

Finish by use

• Honed is matte, modern, and grippier, so it's the safer choice for floors.
• Polished is reflective and dramatic and looks best on walls and vanities.
• Tumbled has softened edges and an older, textured look.

Seal every marble surface at install and clean it with pH-neutral products. Add matching detail with marble moldings and trim pieces, and stock sealer from grout and sealers.
