Can 24x24 pavers be laid on sand?+
Yes, on a compacted gravel base with bedding sand, the same as any paver. Keep the base flat: large formats show every dip.
Are 24x24 porcelain pavers slippery?+
Outdoor rated porcelain has a textured face made for wet conditions. Check the product page for the finish; anything described as matte or structured is intended for exterior floors.
Can I use these on a roof terrace?+

24x24 Pavers
The 24 by 24 inch format, in 2cm porcelain and in natural travertine, marble and limestone. Faces are matte, tumbled, natural or brushed, all chosen to stay grippy outdoors. Most of the range runs $7 to $12 per square foot.
This size is the default for a modern patio: large enough to lay a big area quickly, small enough for one person to handle. It is also the standard size for pedestal systems on roof terraces and balconies.
Porcelain at 2cm is the low maintenance option, unaffected by frost, stains and pool chemicals. Travertine and marble cost about the same but bring real stone texture and stay cooler than dark surfaces in summer sun.
