How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

One batch sits in Pompano Beach, FL, holding a single slab that measures 34 by 78 inches. A batch is the group of slabs cut from one block, so pieces from that batch share the closest visual match. African Calacata is a white marble slab sold in random sizes at a thickness of 1 1/4 inches. Pricing is by quote. You request a quote for the slab you choose, and we provide the details based on the batch list.

Design

Polished finish in Pompano Beach

The polished finish buffs to a mirror shine that deepens the white tone and highlights the grey veining. Light reflects off the surface, making the stone read bright and clean. Each slab arrives with its own size and unique markings. Variation between one slab and the next is natural. You will see differences in the veining patterns.

Random sizes

Slabs are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.

Natural variation

Every slab carries its own markings and veining patterns.
