Marble · Fireplace mantel
Afyon White marble, Art Deco mantel
This Art Deco fireplace mantel is made from first-quality Afyon White marble with a polished finish. It measures 8 inches (W) by 60 inches (L) by 47 inches (H). The white surface carries subtle gray veining that gives each piece its own character, and polish brings out the whiteness of the stone. Every mantel is handcrafted individually, so no two pieces are identical.
Design
Clean lines and vertical fluting
Art Deco design is about clean lines and strong architectural form. Here vertical fluting sets up a steady rhythm across the piece, and the polished surface catches and reflects light, which gives the fireplace wall warmth in person. The gray undertones keep the white from feeling flat. This is solid natural stone, not a veneer, and its natural variations are part of the piece rather than flaws. Moderate variation between mantels is normal.

Where to use it
Proportioned for a living room
At 60 inches long and 47 inches high, the mantel holds the focal wall without overwhelming standard room proportions. It suits contemporary, transitional and classic rooms. It works above a traditional wood-burning fireplace or a modern gas insert, installed to code, and the 8 inch width keeps it slim. It is the kind of feature that guests notice first, and it gives the rest of the room a clear point to work from. White walls keep it calm, while a darker wall makes the fluting stand out.
Size
(W) 8" × (L) 60" × (H) 47", polished marble.
Four pieces
Hearth, two columns and a top piece.
Installation
Four pieces, set to the opening
The mantel is a four-piece handcrafted assembly: a hearth, two columns and a top piece. Marble is heavy, and the assembly should be installed by a professional who fits it to the fireplace opening and fixes it securely to the wall. Clearances between the stone and the firebox follow the fireplace maker's instructions and local building code. The hearth is set level first so the columns and top align.

Custom sizing
This mantel is made to order and can make it in a custom size or finish when the opening calls for it. Contact us with the measurements of the fireplace.
Care
Afyon White is a calcite marble with a polished surface. Marble is porous, and acids such as vinegar can etch the surface, while spills can stain it if left to sit. Resealing helps protect the polish, and how often depends on use.
