How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

This marble slab is rated for residential interior walls, commercial interior walls, shower walls, and residential countertops. You get a gray stone with a polished finish that reads bright and deep under light. Each piece arrives as a full slab in random sizes, not a fixed grid. We sell these marble slabs by quote, so you will request a price for the exact pieces you need. The thickness sits at 3/4 inch.

Design

The gray tone carries soft white veining that moves across each slab. The polished buff brings out the depth of the stone while leaving a mirror finish that catches light. Veining density and tone shift from one slab to the next. You should expect that variation when reviewing the batch list. Dry-laying the pieces before installation spreads the natural differences evenly.

Care

Seal the stone after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner for daily maintenance. Avoid bleach, ammonia, and abrasive pads. Acidic spills like lemon and wine etch the surface immediately.
