Marble · Slab
Bardiglio Nuvolato presents a medium gray base with a polished finish that reflects light and deepens the stone's natural color. Each slab arrives in a random size, cut from a single block of marble. The surface reads smooth and cool to the touch, with veining that shifts in width and direction across the face. Pricing for these marble slabs is handled by quote, tailored to the specific pieces you select. A licensed fabricator will template and install the stone after delivery.
Design
Veining and Variation
The gray background carries darker gray to charcoal veining that moves in loose, organic lines. The polished surface catches overhead light, making the contrast between the lighter and darker areas more distinct. Variation is expected between slabs, as each comes from a different part of the block. You will see differences in tone and vein density from one piece to the next. Dry laying is recommended to distribute this variation evenly.
Random Sizes
Each slab measures a unique dimension, so the final layout depends on the fabricator's cut list.
Polished Depth
The buffed surface reveals the stone's internal structure and color depth.
Where to use it
This marble suits shower walls, commercial interior walls, residential countertops, and residential interior walls. The stone fits well in bathroom and kitchen settings where a refined look is desired. We currently hold six slabs in the Fairfax warehouse. These pieces come from multiple batches, and slabs from the same batch match most closely. A fabricator templates and installs the stone after it arrives.

Why we chose it
- Batch consistency.The six slabs in Fairfax come from different blocks, so matching tone and vein pattern requires selecting from the same batch.
- Random dimensions.Each slab arrives in a unique size, allowing the fabricator to plan cuts for countertops and wall panels without standard grid constraints.
- Polished surface.The buffed finish reflects light and deepens the gray color, but it also shows etching sooner than honed options.
Care
Marble reacts to acids like lemon and vinegar, which can etch the polished surface. Seal the stone after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, or abrasive pads.
