How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Beryl Macaubas is a white quartzite slab sold by quote for the full slabs you select. The polished finish reflects light while the stone holds its natural character. Each slab arrives in random sizes from the stock list. You request a quote for the exact pieces you need. Pricing depends on the slab you choose.

Design

Beryl Macaubas in polished finish

The white background carries grey veining that runs across the surface. The polished surface reads bright in overhead light and deeper in side light. Each slab brings its own pattern and size to the project. Variation between slabs is natural and expected. The grey lines shift in width and direction.

Random slab sizes

Each piece measures differently from the next.

Polished surface

Light reflects off the buffed face clearly.

Where to use it

This stone suits shower walls, commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, and residential countertops. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. One batch sits in Fairfax, VA, with one slab at 77x131 inches. That slab covers 70.05 square feet. Slabs from the same batch match most closely.

Shower walls

Seal the stone before installation.

Residential countertops

Polished surfaces show wear sooner.

Why we chose it

One batchThe single batch in Fairfax keeps the veining consistent across your slabs.

Care
