How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Granite · Slab

Bianco Romano is a white granite slab sold by quote. You get the full slabs you pick from the batch list. A licensed fabricator templates and installs them. Pricing comes on request. Slabs ship to a fabricator, not a home.

Design

White Granite with Slight Variation

The stone reads white with a speckled grain. A polished finish gives it a mirror shine that deepens the color. Each slab carries its own size and its own markings. Expect slight variation between pieces. The veining and grain size differ from one slab to the next.

Polished Granite

Buffed to a mirror shine that reveals the stone's structure.

Random Slab Sizes

Each piece is a single slab with its own dimensions and markings.

Where to use it

Suitable for Interior Walls and Countertops

This granite suits residential countertops, shower walls, residential interior walls and commercial interior walls. You place it in a kitchen or a bathroom. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. We hold slabs in batches at our US warehouses. Slabs from one batch look the closest to each other. The batch list shows the sizes in stock.

Residential Countertops

Granite resists scratches and heat better than marble.

Shower Walls

Polished granite is dense and needs sealing less often than marble.

Why we chose it

Batch MatchingSlabs from one batch come from the same block and look the closest to each other.
Stock SizesThe batch list provides the exact random sizes available right now.
Mirror FinishThe polished finish deepens the white color but shows wear sooner.

Care

Polished granite needs sealing to help in kitchens. The finish shows etching and wear sooner than a honed surface. Clean with a pH neutral stone cleaner.
