How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Design

Black Color with Polished Finish

The surface shows moderate variation between pieces. Veining and tone shift from one slab to the next. A polished finish brings out the depth of the black. Light reflects off the buffed surface. Each slab holds its own markings.

Polished Depth

The mirror shine deepens the black and highlights the natural veining patterns found in this stone.

Slab Variation

Every slab carries unique veining and tone shifts that differ from piece to piece.

Why we chose it

One batch holds one slab. The Fairfax warehouse carries a single batch with one 73 by 90 inch slab ready for your project.
Random sizes in stock. The slab measures 73 by 90 inches. Each slab arrives as a single piece of stone with its own size.
Polished finish reads bright. The buffed surface reflects light and deepens the black color. It shows etching sooner than a honed finish.

Care
