How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

This Calacatta Amber Honed Marble Slab Random suits shower walls, commercial interior walls and residential interior walls. Design

White with amber veins

The honed finish grinds the surface smooth and leaves it matte. It hides scratches and etching better than a polished face. The veining shifts across each slab, and the tone changes from one slab to the next. You will see different patterns even on adjacent slabs from the same batch. The variation is natural and expected in this stone.

Why we chose it

Same batch looks closeA batch is the group of slabs cut from one block, so slabs in the same batch look the closest to each other.
Random slab sizesEach slab is one piece of stone with its own size and its own markings. The batch list on this page gives the sizes in stock.
Honed finish choiceA honed finish is ground smooth but left matte. It hides scratches and etching better than a polished face.

Care

Marble reacts with acids like lemon, vinegar and wine. Seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads.
