How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Vagli in a polished finish

Calacatta Vagli presents a white field with grey veining, brought out by a polished finish that reads bright in overhead light. It comes as full slabs in random sizes, each cut from a different block. You will request a quote for the slabs you choose. We do not list prices online. This is a marble slab sold by quote.

Design

The veining runs in broad strokes across a white base. The polished surface catches light and deepens the grey tones. Each slab measures a different size, so the layout will shift with each cut. You will see variation from one slab to the next. A batch list on this page shows the sizes in stock.

Where to use it

Calacatta Vagli for walls

This stone suits shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery moves by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse, or by crated LTL freight beyond that. Slabs from one batch match most closely.

Why we chose it

Batch consistencySlabs cut from the same block share the closest veining and tone. The batch list on this page shows the sizes in stock.

Polished finish depthThe polished surface catches light and deepens the grey tones. It shows wear sooner, so it suits walls and low-traffic areas.

Care

Seal the stone after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads.
