Marble · Slab
Calacatta Viola Honed Marble Slab Random 1 1/4 arrives as a white stone with a honed finish. It comes in full slabs of varying dimensions, so each piece carries its own size. We sell marble slabs by quote rather than at a fixed price. The buyer requests a quote for the specific slabs they select from our stock. This approach accounts for the natural variations inherent in each block.
Design
White Calacatta Viola
The white background carries grey veining that runs through the stone in irregular lines. A honed finish reads matte in overhead light and hides scratches better than a polished face. Variation between slabs is expected because each slab comes from a different part of the block. One slab may show denser veining while another stays lighter. The batch list shows which sizes are currently available.
Veining and tone
Every slab carries its own markings and tone. No two slabs match exactly. The honed finish softens the look of the stone.
Batch matching
Slabs cut from the same block stay closest in appearance. We keep three batches in stock to give you options. Check the batch list for current sizes.
Where to use it
This stone suits commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, shower walls, and residential countertops. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone, so you do not handle the heavy slabs yourself. We hold three batches and two slabs in our Fairfax, VA warehouse. Slabs from one batch match most closely. The sizes in stock are 77x109 in, 79x109 in, and 73x106 in.
Suitable surfaces
Use this stone for commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, shower walls, and residential countertops. Do not place it on floors. The honed finish hides scratches well.
Fabricator delivery
We deliver to a licensed fabricator only. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of Fairfax. Beyond that range, we use crated LTL freight.

Care
Seal the marble after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, and abrasive pads. Lemon, vinegar, and wine will etch the surface. Dry-lay from several boxes before setting to spread the color variation evenly.
