How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Calatorao Matte Sintered Stone Slab 125x63 works for residential interior walls, commercial interior walls, shower walls, and residential countertops. We sell this stone as full slabs measuring 125 by 63 inches. The surface carries a matte finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. Pricing is by quote for the specific slabs you select. Stock status changes daily.

Design

Calatorao Black Matte

The stone presents a black ground with slight variation between pieces. Each slab arrives as one continuous piece with its own markings and size. The matte glaze hides smudges well and gives a softer look than glossy finishes. Light reads flat across the surface without glare. Variation stays consistent across the batch.

Matte Finish

No reflection and hides smudges.

Where to use it

Licensed fabricators template and install this material for bathroom and kitchen projects. We do not deliver slabs to job sites. A batch contains slabs cut from one block, so pieces in that batch match most closely. Stock availability shifts with incoming shipments. Fabricators cut the stone to order.
