TIKI STATUES
A cylindrical totem with a wide grinning mouth, a full row of squared teeth, a chevron brow and a broad nose. Thirty five point eight inches, which puts the face at chest height on most people.
The finish is deep reddish brown with visible grain running down the column, so it reads as carved hardwood rather than as concrete pretending. Indoors or out, that warmth is what stops it looking industrial.
Height is what makes this piece work. Small tiki figures are novelties. At three feet it holds a corner, flanks a doorway, or anchors the end of a bar without needing anything else near it.
A corner, a doorway, the end of a bar, against a fence or a wall. It is a vertical piece and it wants something behind it rather than open space on all sides. Indoors it suits a hallway or a tiki bar. Outdoors it works on a covered porch or in planting where the column shows above the foliage.

One piece, nothing to assemble. Set it on level solid ground or flooring.
Give it a wall or a fence behind it. A tall column standing alone in the open reads as unfinished.
Concrete on a hard floor should sit on a pad or felt to avoid scuffing. It is heavier than it looks, so position it once rather than moving it around.
Wipe with a soft cloth. Outdoors, years of direct sun will lighten the reddish tone, so a covered or partly shaded position holds the depth longer.
Sealed concrete handles freeze and thaw well when dry. Check the base is not standing in water, which is the only thing that damages a solid piece like this.

This one is a 35.8 inch standing column and purely a statue. The other two are 19.6 inches with flat tops, built to take a drink or to sit on. Same tradition, different jobs.
Yes, and the timber finish is why. It suits a hallway, a bar corner or a covered porch. Use a pad under it on hard flooring.
No, concrete with a faux hardwood finish. Real timber at this size outdoors splits within a few seasons. This holds the grain look indefinitely.
It works much better with one. A tall narrow column standing in open space looks like it lost something. Against a fence, a wall or planting it holds its own.
