Constantine, cut and honed
Constantine is a marble mosaic on a sheet just under fourteen inches square, honed, and recorded as multicolour within the Royal Beige group. Each sheet covers 1.28 square feet with six in a box, and two matching trims are cut from the same stone.
Design
One family of tones
Calling it multicolour overstates the drama: the pieces sit within one beige family, and the variation between them is recorded as slight. What that produces is a surface with movement but no jumps. Honing keeps every piece matte so the pattern registers through its cut lines rather than through reflection. Sheets run 3/8 inch. An 8x8 piece and a 2x12 andorra profile match for edges and returns. Sheet joins are the only alignment worth worrying about, since everything inside a sheet arrives already set.

Where to use it
Shower floors
The record carries shower floors, with kitchen as the noted room. Nine boxes will cover 60 square feet once cutting is accounted for. Mosaic sheets want complete adhesive behind them, and on a floor that falls towards a drain the sheets do the flexing that a large tile could not. Mixing sheets from several boxes while setting keeps any tonal drift spread across the floor rather than gathered in one corner.

Care
Seal after installation and reseal every one to two years. Marble dulls where acid touches it, so keep vinegar and citrus away and stay with a pH neutral stone cleaner.
