How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Cote D Azur in a polished finish

The blue tone runs through the stone with soft grey veining that shifts in density. A polished surface catches the light and deepens the blue while highlighting each natural marking. Variation appears between slabs because every piece comes from a different part of the block. The veining and the size of each slab differ from one to the next. No two slabs share the same pattern or edge line.

Where to use it

This material fits commercial interior walls, residential countertops, residential interior walls and shower walls. We keep one batch in Fairfax with five slabs at 59x120 inches. A licensed fabricator templates and installs these slabs. Slabs from the same batch match most closely. Delivery goes to the fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles of Fairfax or by crated LTL freight beyond that range.

Care

Seal the marble after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia or abrasive pads. Lemon, vinegar and wine will etch the surface if left unattended.
