How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Granite · Slab

Cygnus Polished Granite Slab Random arrives as full slabs in the sizes listed here. The stone reads gray with a polished finish that catches light on its dense surface. Each slab carries its own random dimensions and natural markings. Pricing for these pieces runs by quote, not by square foot. Contact the showroom to set up a quote for the slabs you need.

Design

Gray tones and polished sheen

The gray background carries subtle speckling typical of granite. The polished surface opens to a mirror shine that deepens the stone's color. Veining moves in soft, irregular bands across each slab. Expect slight variation between pieces as you move from one slab to the next. No two slabs share the exact same pattern. Two batches in Fairfax, VA

Cut by a licensed fabricator

We ship slabs to a licensed fabricator who templates, cuts, and installs the stone.

Why we chose it

Slabs cut from the same block share the closest veining and color. The batch list on this page shows what is in stock.
The slabs in stock run 77x124 in and 72x124 in. These dimensions cover most countertop and wall layouts.
The polished finish deepens the gray tones and reflects light. It suits walls and vanities where wear stays low.

Care

Seal the stone before daily use to protect the polished surface. Wipe spills quickly, especially in the kitchen. A pH neutral cleaner keeps the shine intact. Avoid acidic products that dull the finish.
