How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

Djamballa marble arrives in random dimensions and a polished surface. The slab comes as full stone with no fixed sizing. Pricing requires a quote for the exact slabs selected. Each piece measures differently. Stone Tile Depot sells these marble slabs by quote only. A polished finish is buffed to a mirror shine that deepens the stone's color and veining.

Marble is a metamorphic natural stone; every tile is cut from a different part of the block, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece and from the sample.

Where to use it

Suitable for shower walls, commercial interior walls and residential countertops. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. The stone is available in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Slabs from one batch match most closely. A batch is the group of slabs cut from one block, so slabs in the same batch look the closest to each other.
