Marble · Slab
Elegant Gray Leather Marble Slab Random presents a muted gray field with a leather finish that softens the stone's natural luster. The surface reads as a quiet, tactile plane rather than a glossy mirror. We sell this stone in full slabs cut from the block, with the random sizes listed in the stock report. Pricing is by quote, because each slab carries its own dimensions and veining. Marble slabs like this one require a licensed fabricator to template and install the piece.
Design
The gray ground carries subtle veining that shifts from light to medium across the face. A leather finish breaks up the reflection, so the stone reads softly in bright light and deeper in shadow. Each slab comes from a different part of the block, so the veining density and the tone will differ from one piece to the next. Dry-lay the slabs from the available stock before installation to distribute the variation evenly. Two finishes on one sheet is not applicable here, as this is a single-surface slab. The leather face masks water spots and fingerprints better than a polished cut would.

Where to use it
The stone suits commercial interior walls, residential countertops, and shower walls. It fits well in a bathroom, a living room, or a kitchen. We hold two batches in stock at our Fairfax, VA warehouse. The six slabs available measure either 71 by 121 inches or 71 by 116 inches. Slabs from the same batch match most closely, so specify a batch if you need a tight veining match. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts, and installs the slab after delivery. The stone goes to a fabricator, not to a home or a job site. Delivery arrives by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the Fairfax warehouse, and by crated LTL freight beyond that range.

Why we chose it
Marble reacts to acids like lemon, vinegar, and wine. Seal the surface after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, and abrasive pads.
