This fireplace surround is hand carved from Honey Onyx, a translucent natural stone in warm honey and amber beige. Design

Onyx is known for its translucency: where the stone is thin, light passes into it and the honey tones seem to glow. Firelight and lamplight bring out that warmth in the evening. The carving uses traditional techniques, with an arched opening, ornamental columns and refined geometry.
