How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

Iceberg marble moves from block to slab with a white ground and soft grey veining that reads as a polished surface. Stone Tile Depot sells this collection in full slabs at the random sizes listed on the page. Pricing runs by quote for the slabs you choose. Contact the showroom to get a number for the exact pieces you want. This product stays on the quote track from start to finish.

Design

Iceberg white with grey veins

The white background carries grey veins that shift in weight from slab to slab. Each piece brings its own pattern and tone. A polished finish catches the light and deepens the stone's colour. Expect moderate variation between pieces. The random sizes mean every slab carries a different footprint.

Natural veining

Every slab carries unique grey veins that shift in tone and weight.

Polished surface

A buffed finish catches light and brings out the stone's colour depth.

Where to use it

This stone works on commercial interior walls, residential countertops, shower walls and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. Open batches hold random sizes across the stock list. Slabs from one batch match most closely. The fabricator cuts the stone to order for countertops, shelves and large format walls.

Fabricator installs

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs the slab on site.

Batch matching

Slabs from the same batch carry the closest match in tone and veining.

Care

Seal marble after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads. Dry lay pieces from several boxes before setting to spread the moderate variation evenly across the installation.
