Ivory Honed Limestone Slab Random 1 1/4
No slabs of this stone are in stock right now. Send us a quote request and we will let you know when a new batch arrives.

Limestone · Slab
Six batches of Ivory Honed Limestone sit in our Fairfax warehouse right now. A batch means a group of slabs cut from one block, so those slabs match each other most closely. This Ivory Honed Limestone Slab comes in random sizes at a thickness of 1 1/4 inches. We sell these limestone slabs by quote, so you will request pricing for the specific slabs you choose. We do not deliver slabs directly to a home or job site. A licensed fabricator receives the stone, templates it, and installs it on site.
Design
The Ivory honed finish reads matte under most lighting. It has a soft, even texture that shows less contrast than marble. Small fossil and shell traces appear across the surface. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own random size and its own unique markings. The honed face hides scratches and etching better than a polished one. Lighter limestones can show wear paths in heavy-traffic entries over the years, but this finish masks that wear more effectively.
Each slab measures differently. The batch list on this page shows the exact sizes currently in stock.
The honed face stays matte. It hides scratches and etching better than a polished surface.

Why we chose it
Limestone is porous and needs a penetrating sealer after installation. Reseal every one to two years in wet areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Acids etch limestone quickly.
