How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Granite · Slab

Three slabs from the Labradorite Blue Extra batch sit in Fairfax right now. A batch means three slabs cut from the same block, so they share the closest match in colour and grain. This granite arrives as full slabs in random sizes with a 1-1/4 inch thickness. The surface reads polished, which buffs the stone to a mirror shine that deepens the blue base. Pricing runs by quote because every slab carries its own unique dimensions and markings.

Design

Blue granite with speckled grain

The stone presents a blue base threaded with a speckled grain typical of granite. The polished finish reflects light sharply, making the mineral flecks stand out against the darker ground. You will see variation between one slab and the next. Each slab is one solid piece of stone with its own size and its own markings. The batch list on this page gives the exact sizes available right now.

Random slab sizes

Each slab arrives in a random size. The batch list shows what fits your project.

Polished mirror finish

The polished surface reflects light and deepens the blue colour. It suits walls and vanities.

Where to use it

Slabs for kitchen and bathroom

This granite works on residential interior walls and residential countertops. It also fits commercial interior walls and shower walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery goes to a licensed fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab, or by crated LTL freight beyond that distance.

Residential and commercial walls

The stone suits residential interior walls and commercial interior walls. It resists scratches and heat.

Fabricator installation

A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slab. We do not deliver to job sites.
