How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Lord White is a beige marble offered in a polished finish. It arrives as full slabs in random sizes, with the 50x116 inch size currently available. Pricing is provided by quote for the stone you select. We keep one batch of slabs in stock at our Fairfax, VA warehouse. You can request a quote for marble slabs through the product page.

Design

The stone carries a beige background with grey veining that moves across each slab in its own pattern. The polished surface reflects light and deepens the tone of the stone. Variation between slabs is natural because each piece comes from a different section of the block. Slabs in the same batch match most closely. One slab covers approximately 40.28 square feet.

This stone is rated for residential countertops, commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, and shower walls. It suits installations in the bathroom and kitchen. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts, and installs the slab. Only one slab is currently in stock at the Fairfax, VA warehouse. You should dry lay pieces from the same batch to spread the veining evenly.

Care

Seal the stone after installation and reseal it every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, or abrasive pads. Acidic substances like lemon or wine will etch the surface.
