How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Magnus is a polished quartzite slab that brings a modern edge to interior walls and countertops. The stone arrives in random sizes, including 77x120 inches and 72x128 inches, and pricing is always handled by quote. We keep two batches of this stone in Fairfax, VA, so you can see exactly what is available before you commit. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slabs after they arrive from our warehouse. The polished finish reads as a mirror shine that deepens the quartzite's natural color and veining.

Design

The polished surface catches light and reveals the stone's natural variations. Each slab carries its own unique markings and veining patterns. The batch list shows the exact sizes available, so you know what to expect. Slabs from the same batch match most closely. A polished finish shows wear sooner than a honed surface, so it suits walls and vanities well.

Batch Matching

Slabs from the same batch look the closest to each other.

Random Sizes

Each slab is one piece of stone with its own size and markings.
