How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Marrom Sandalus Textured Quartzite Slab Random is a brown stone sold by quote for the slabs you pick. It comes as full slabs in random sizes with a textured finish. Pricing is by quote. Contact the showroom for details. We do not list prices online.

Design

Brown quartzite with texture

The colour is brown with slight variation between pieces. Veining moves across each slab in its own pattern. The textured finish reads as a soft relief in light. Each slab carries its own size and markings. Expect natural shifts from one piece to the next. A batch holds slabs cut from one block. Slabs in the same batch match most closely. Call the showroom to check batch stock.

Random slab sizes

Every slab is one piece of stone with its own dimensions. The batch list on this page gives the sizes in stock.

Where to use it

Shower walls and kitchen counters

This slab suits shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab. Beyond that range we use crated LTL freight. Quartzite holds a polish well and resists etching better than marble. It should still be sealed in kitchens and wet rooms. Open the link to see batch stock. Check the link for delivery terms.
