Limestone · Slab
Two batches are in stock for Olive Green Honed Limestone Slab Random. A batch is the group of slabs cut from one block, so slabs in the same batch look the closest to each other. This limestone comes as full slabs in the random sizes listed in the batch inventory. The finish is honed, a matte surface that hides scratches and etching better than a polished face. Pricing is by quote for the slabs you choose.

Design
The stone reads as olive green with a soft, even texture. Small fossil and shell traces appear across the surface. The honed finish leaves the face matte, showing less contrast than marble. Light hits the honed surface without a sharp shine. Variation between one slab and the next comes from the natural veining and the size of each piece. Two callouts: The honed finish hides wear paths in heavy-traffic entries. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own markings. Three why items: Why two batches are in stock: The inventory shows two batches holding three slabs total. Why the sizes vary: The batch list on this page gives the random sizes available. Why the honed finish matters: It hides scratches and etching better than a polished face.

Where to use it
This slab suits residential interior walls, commercial interior walls, and residential countertops. You can use it in the bathroom and the kitchen. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. The stone is porous and needs a penetrating sealer after installation. Resealing is required every one to two years in wet areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Acids etch limestone quickly. Callouts: Delivery to a licensed fabricator only. No direct delivery to homes. Three why items: Why the fabricator is necessary: Slabs are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls. Why the sealer matters: Limestone is porous and needs a penetrating sealer after installation. Why the cleaner must be pH-neutral: Acids etch limestone quickly.
