Pavoreal Azul Mural

Pavoreal Azul (Blue Peacock) cuerda seca Talavera mural — the iconic Mexican peacock motif in a classic cobalt blue colorway using the traditional cuerda seca technique. This large-format mural measures 24" x 48" and consists of forty-eight 6" tiles, each featuring raised relief and rich textural detail that captures the iridescent beauty of peacock plumage in stunning ceramic form.

The cuerda seca technique creates distinct raised ridges between color sections, producing a three-dimensional, sculptural quality. The Azul colorway is the most traditional of the Pavoreal palette — deep cobalt blues and turquoise greens echo the classic blue-and-white Talavera aesthetic that has defined Mexican ceramic art for centuries. A breathtaking focal point for kitchen backsplashes, living room feature walls, outdoor courtyards, and pool areas where the blue tones complement water and sky.

Every tile is handmade and unique. All handmade Mexican products are rustic in nature and subject to variation in shape, size, and color.
