We sell Pietra Cardoso Honed Slate Slab Random by quote. This material arrives as full slabs in the random sizes listed in the stock list. You pick the slabs that fit your layout. We price each quote based on the slabs you choose. The finish is honed. The color runs gray.
Design
Five batches in Fairfax
The color runs gray with natural veining that shifts from slab to slab. You see moderate variation between pieces. The honed finish reads matte in light. It hides scratches and etching better than a polished face. Each slab brings its own size and its own markings.

Stock includes 71x122 in, 66x124 in, 73x125 in, 72x115 in, and 50x98 in.
Where to use it
Suitable for bathrooms and kitchens
This stone suits shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls, and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. Five batches of slabs sit in Fairfax. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery goes to a licensed fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab. Beyond that range, we use crated LTL freight.

The natural cleft face has a slight texture that is slip resistant.

Care
Seal slate after installation. Some slates flake lightly in the first months. The flaking stops once the loose layer is gone.
