ROCK WATERFALL OUTDOOR FOUNTAIN
A tiered fountain steps water down through levels of the same shape at regular intervals. This one does not. The rock layers are offset and uneven, different sizes at different angles, the way stone actually settles over a long time rather than the way a mold produces it. Water leaving one level lands off center on the next, so the cascade changes direction as it descends instead of falling in a straight line.
That winding path is the whole design, and it is what makes a 59 inch piece read as a formation rather than as a stack. The eye cannot find a repeating unit, which is exactly what stops it looking manufactured. Faux moss worked into the crevices adds the surface age that finishes the effect, so the piece reads as something that has been in the garden a while rather than something delivered last week.
Warm LEDs sit inside each basin and light the water from below after dark, which on an irregular structure matters more than on a symmetrical one. Lit from underneath, the offsets and overhangs throw shadows across each other and the depth of the rock reads at night in a way flat daylight flattens out.
Varied rather than rhythmic. Because the falls are different heights landing at different angles into different amounts of standing water, the sound never settles into a loop the way a symmetrical tower does. It reads closer to a stream over rocks than to a fountain, which is the point of the design. At five feet it has real presence and will soften background noise on a patio without being loud. How loud it seems will still shift with the water level, the surrounding surfaces, and how enclosed the space is, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own garden.

Plug and play on a level outdoor surface. No plumbing and nothing to bury. Set the final position before filling, because a five foot piece full of water is not something you shift afterwards.
Level matters more here than on a symmetrical fountain. The water path already runs off center by design, and a tilted base pushes it further until a whole section of the cascade misses its landing and runs down the outside instead.
Keep enough water in the reservoir to cover the pump at all times. Lifting water to 59 inches works the pump harder than a small fountain does, and running dry is what kills pumps. Water falling this distance also loses more to evaporation and wind drift than a low piece, so check the level more often in heat.
Clear leaves out of the basins. On an irregular structure a leaf on one ledge redirects a whole section of the path, and you will hear the change before you find the cause.
The earth toned surface and the moss detail are what make this read as natural, so wipe it with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off it. In hard water areas a pale film builds along the wet edges and is easier to remove before it sets into the texture than after. Years of full sun will lift some depth out of any applied color, so a spot with afternoon shade keeps it looking new longer.
Before hard freezes, drain the reservoir and every basin completely, disconnect and store the pump indoors, and let the piece dry out. Water left where it can freeze inside the structure is what causes damage over winter. Covering it afterwards stops rain and snow refilling the basins.

A tiered fountain has regular horizontal steps of equal or similar size, and water falls predictably from one uniform level to the next. Here the layers vary in size, angle, and offset, so the water path changes direction as it descends. The result reads as a natural formation rather than as a stack of bowls. If you want a classical symmetrical outline, a tiered design is the right choice and this one will look untidy to you.
Large backyard gardens, woodland and naturalistic planting, courtyards and patios where a five foot water feature is proportionate. It suits loose planting, ferns, grasses, and existing stone. It does not suit a formal clipped bed, where irregular layering reads as disorder rather than as nature.
The supplier documentation refers to the product manual for both figures rather than publishing them, so we are not going to guess at numbers we cannot verify. If you need the footprint or the shipping weight before ordering, contact customer support and we will get the confirmed figures for you.
A structure this tall should not be climbed on, and children should be kept from pulling on the upper rock levels. Set it on a hard level surface with clear space around it, run the cord along a bed edge or wall rather than across open ground, and use a protected outdoor outlet. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
