Travertine · Slab
Roman Travertine Honed Slab Random arrives in random sizes as a 1 1/4 inch thick stone slab. This beige stone carries a honed finish that reads matte under light. We sell this material by quote rather than at a listed price. Your fabricator will template and install these travertine slabs after you request a price. Stock levels shift daily so call the showroom to check availability.
Design
Roman Travertine in honed finish
The beige base runs in warm bands that shift toward ivory or cream. Natural pits and channels appear throughout the surface. The honed face hides scratches better than a polished cut. Expect slight variation between pieces on the same slab and between adjacent slabs. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own unique markings. The random sizes mean every cut will look different. This finish suits modern styles well.

Matte honed face
The honed finish grounds the beige tones and reduces glare in bright rooms.
Where to use it
This stone works for residential countertops and residential interior walls. You can also use it for commercial interior walls and shower walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. We do not deliver slabs to a job site or directly to you. Delivery moves by A-frame truck within fifty miles of our warehouse. Crated LTL freight handles longer distances. Batch availability dictates which slabs match closely. Check the batch list on this page for current sizes in stock.

Care
Seal travertine after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use pH-neutral cleaners only. Avoid acidic products that damage the stone.
