An elongated hexagon in blush
Longest Hexagon is a glossy pink ceramic tile from the Pure Wall Tile collection, stretched to 3 by 7 7/8 so the six sided shape reads as a long point rather than a regular honeycomb. Bevelled edges give every joint its own shadow.
Design
Stretched geometry
Pulling a hexagon out of its regular proportion changes the rhythm of a wall: rows become directional, and the eye follows the long axis rather than settling into a honeycomb. The bevel adds a step at each perimeter, which the gloss then picks out. Variation is slight and the body is 3/8 inch. Pink ceramic tiles in this collection come with matching finish, pencil and edge trims.

Where to use it
Walls and light floors
Approvals cover shower walls, backsplash, residential and commercial interior walls, and residential light floors, with living room as the recorded room. Pieces are small at 0.11 square feet, 25 to a box for 2.7 square feet, so 60 square feet comes to 26 boxes with the waste margin. Setting out matters on a shape like this, since the points have to resolve sensibly at every edge.

Care
A household tile cleaner keeps the glaze clear. Bevelled joints collect slightly more along the line than flat ones, so a soft brush there keeps the shadow reading crisply.
