Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

  • Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
  • LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
  • Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
  • Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Silver Drop Polished Marble Slab Random

Marble · Slab

Silver Drop Polished Marble Slab Random comes in full slabs cut to the random sizes listed in the batch inventory. The stone reads as a gray field with silver undertones and carries a polished finish that reflects light. We sell these marble slabs by quote rather than by the sheet. Each slab is a single piece of natural stone with its own markings. Pricing requires a request for the specific slabs you select.

Design

Gray field with silver undertones

The gray base holds silver undertones that read differently in direct sun versus room light. Veining moves across each slab in irregular patterns that shift from piece to piece. Expect moderate variation between one slab and the next. The polished surface reflects light and deepens the stone's natural tones. Each slab measures a random size from the batch list. The variation ensures no two installations match exactly. The finish shows wear sooner than honed options. It suits walls and vanities where traffic stays low.

Moderate variation

Slabs from the same batch look the closest to each other.

Random sizes

Each slab is cut to the dimensions listed in the batch inventory.

Where to use it

This stone works for shower walls, commercial interior walls, residential interior walls and residential countertops. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slabs after you receive the quote. We keep slabs in stock at our Fairfax warehouse in a single batch. Slabs from that batch match most closely. The polished finish reflects light and shows etching sooner. It suits bathroom walls and kitchen counters where acid exposure stays minimal.

Single batch stock

All available slabs come from one block for the closest visual match.

Fabricator installation

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs the stone.

Why we chose it

  • Batch matchingSlabs from the same batch share the closest veining and tone.
  • Random sizesThe batch list shows the exact dimensions available for your project.
  • Polished finishThe buffed surface reflects light and deepens the stone's natural color.

Care

Seal the stone after installation and reseal it every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads. Marble reacts with acids like lemon and wine, so wipe spills immediately. Dry-lay the slabs before setting them to spread the color variation evenly.
