How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Splendido Quartzite Polished Slab Random

Quartzite · Slab

This stone works for shower walls, residential countertops, residential interior walls, and commercial interior walls. It is a brown quartzite with a polished finish. We sell it as full slabs in the random sizes our inventory holds. Pricing is by quote for the slabs you choose. design direction project use

Design

Brown Quartzite Veining

The colour runs through the stone in deep brown tones. Veining appears in irregular lines that cross the surface. A polished finish brings out the colour and catches the light. Expect variation from one slab to the next. The markings differ on every piece. stone care

Polished Read

The buffed surface reflects light and deepens the brown colour.

Natural Variation

Each slab carries its own markings and veining patterns.

Where to use it

The stone suits bathroom, kitchen, and living room applications. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We hold two batches in our inventory. Slabs measuring 77x131 inches are available at our Carlstadt, NJ and Fairfax, VA warehouses. Slabs from one batch match most closely. installation questions

Batch Matching

Slabs from the same batch share the closest appearance.

Fabricator Install

A licensed fabricator handles the template and installation.
