How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Travertine · Slab

Travertino Navona Honed Travertine Slab Random measures in random dimensions and comes as a 1 1/4 inch thick slab. This stone arrives in its natural beige hue with a honed finish that reads matte under light. Pricing is by quote. We do not sell these travertine slabs at a fixed rate. Buyers request a quote for the specific slabs they choose.

Design

The colour runs in warm bands from ivory and cream to walnut and silver. Each slab carries its own size and natural markings. Variation between one slab and the next is expected. The honed surface hides scratches and etching better than a polished face would. Slabs are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.

Each piece measures differently. Sizes are listed in the batch inventory.

Matte honed finish

The honed surface reads matte. It resists etching in daily use.

Where to use it

The stone suits residential countertops, residential interior walls and commercial interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab. Beyond that range, the stone moves by crated LTL freight.
