Velvet Taupe in a honed finish
The colour reads as brown. The honed finish is ground smooth but left matte. It hides scratches and etching better than a polished face. Lighter limestones can show wear paths in heavy-traffic entries over the years. A honed finish hides this better than a polished one. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own size and its own markings. The batch list on this page gives the sizes in stock.

Where to use it
This Velvet Taupe Honed Limestone Slab Random suits residential interior walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls, and shower walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. The stone is sold in random sizes and is cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls. Slabs are delivered to a licensed fabricator, who templates, cuts and installs them. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab, and by crated LTL freight beyond that. 7 slabs are in stock across 3 batches at the Fairfax, VA warehouse.
Cut to order
The stone is sold in random sizes and is cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.

Care
Limestone is porous and needs a penetrating sealer after installation. Reseal every one to two years in wet areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Acids etch limestone quickly.
